Das DRK sucht derzeit eine/n Referent/-in für Partnerschaften und Lernen – Anticipation Hub (m/w/d)
Die Stelle ist im Bereich 6, Internationale Zusammenarbeit des DRK-Generalsekretariats angesiedelt und dem Team 64, Fachliche Entwicklung und Innovation zugeordnet. Das Team führt unter anderem ein vom Auswärtigen Amt finanziertes globales Projekt zur Weiterentwicklung der Themenbereiche Katastrophenvorsorge, Antizipation und Gesundheit unter Berücksichtigung von Querschnittsthemen wie Arbeiten im urbanen Raum, Klimawandel, Informationsmanagement und Digitalisierung durch. Der Anticipation Hub vereint als Plattform mittlerweile über 100 Partner aus 37 Länder. Sie werden verantwortlich sein für das Management der offiziellen Partner und die Entwicklung von Lernaktivitäten für die Wissenschaft, humanitäre Akteure aus der Praxis und politische Entscheidungsträger aus der Rotkreuz- und Rothalbmond-Bewegung, den Organisationen der Vereinten Nationen, Nichtregierungsorganisationen, Regierungen, Hochschulen, Think Tanks und Netzwerkinitiativen.
Es handelt sich um eine Vollzeitstelle. Das Beschäftigungsangebot ist zunächst auf 2 Jahre befristet. Das voraussichtliche Projektende ist für den 31.12.2025 geplant, daher wird eine Verlängerung des Arbeitsverhältnisses angestrebt.

Manager Partnership & Learning – Anticipation Hub
GRC is currently seeking a Manager Partnership and Learning – Anticipation Hub
The position sits in the division 6, International Cooperation of the GRC headquarters and is assigned to department 64, knowledge and innovation. The department implements a global project funded by the German Federal Foreign Office to develop further the thematic areas of disaster risk reduction, anticipation and health considering cross-cutting topics such as climate change, information management/digitization etc. You are part of the Anticipation Hub, a platform to facilitate learning, guidance, exchange and advocacy on anticipatory action that gathers more than 100 partners from 37 countries hosted by the German Red Cross in partnership with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre. You are responsible for managing partnership relations and developing learning activities for the anticipatory action community of scientists, practitioners and policymakers from the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement, United Nations agencies, NGOs, governments academia, think tanks and network initiatives. Support the collaboration and manage relationship with the Anticipation Hub´s current and potential partners. Develop learning materials and activities in cooperation with the Anticipation Hub regional focal points.
Provide coordination support to the working groups and relevant network initiatives. The employment is full-time (100%). The employment offer is initially limited to two years. An extension of employment is sought, the project is scheduled to 31.12.2025.
Your tasks: • Develop high-quality learning material in active partnership with anticipatory action experts and specialists • Design and organize targeted and tailored learning activities according to users´ needs • Support the delivery of learning activities in collaboration with the Anticipation Hub coordination team (IFRC, Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre and the German Red Cross) and other partners as identified • Builds and strengthens Anticipation Hub partnerships and networks with scientists, policymakers and practitioners to promote the scale up, collaboration and innovation on anticipatory action • Support the coordination and implementation of work packages from the Anticipation Hub working groups Support the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) activities of the Anticipation Hub • Assist with communication and reporting as well as contribute to policy and advocacy activities on anticipatory action within and outside of the RCRC movement • Ensure good coordination and proactive contribution on anticipatory action by the Anticipation Hub partners to key initiatives such as the Anticipatory Action Task Force and the Risk-Informed Early Action Partnership and focal points at the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement, UN, NGOs, think tank, academia, governments and other network initiatives as well as relevant regional and global fora / processes
Your profile:
• Relevant university degree • At least a combined 5 years of experience in humanitarian assistance, development cooperation, international cooperation, partnership and/or learning. • Experience in cross-sector partnership with a broad range of actors and/or community engagement • Hands-on experience developing and delivering high quality learning materials for humanitarian and development actors is considered an asset • Knowledge of blended learning methods which combine workshop-based delivery with eLearning is an asset Experience in humanitarian assistance, disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation, approaches and/or project activities • Knowledge of the international cooperation landscape pertaining to disaster risk reduction, early warning, early action/anticipatory action and disaster risk financing themes. • Good ability to work in multicultural teams and across complex contexts • High sense of awareness and good attention to details • Highly organized and skilled in communication, facilitation and negotiation • Availability and willingness to travel abroad - including fitness for travel in the tropics • Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required for this position. • Knowledge of an additional UN Language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish) is an asset Experience working within the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement is an asset
